McCannon Farm is home to Farm Friends nfp located in Big Rock Township Kane County IL. Big Rock is one of the very best agricultural townships in the county and along Big Rock Creek is found the most picturesque scenery in the county. Portions of the township consist of beautiful rolling prairielands with deep fertile soil and along the branches of the Big Rock Creek are fine bodies of heavy timber. This area naturally attracted the early settlers. The McCannon Family were among them arriving in the 1870s and have resided here for six generations.
